Merrielle House started the way most good tables do — with too many people, not enough chairs, and a promise that next year would be more beautiful.
We are a small home and tableware studio. We spend the year finding the pieces that make hosting feel effortless: glasses that make a toast feel like an occasion, plates that flatter whatever is on them, candlelight that does the work of a florist. Then we edit — hard — so that everything we sell sits together on one table without a second thought.
What we believe
- Fewer, better pieces. A six-glass box you use every December for a decade beats a cupboard of once-worn novelty.
- Warm over perfect. Our palette is cream, evergreen, burgundy and brass — colours that forgive candle wax and red wine.
- Ready to give. Every set arrives in presentation packaging, so it can go straight under the tree.
This season starts with the glasses. Everything else on the site was chosen to sit beside them.
